While at St Joseph’s secondary school, I was asked along with other students to have my photograph taken for an upcoming sixth-form college that was opening. Little did I know that I would later attend this college and then continue to be their S6C Promotional Material Representative.
The photographs were to be used in promotional material and the prospectus. After the first release of the S6C prospectus, I discovered I was put on the cover, and from then on I was used in other core promotional material such as banners, posters, local bus advertisements, and leaflets.
During the time I attended S6C, I also represented the establishment by being on the front of the prospectus for a second year running. On top of this, I represented the college for open evenings and for events where we went to secondary schools which had open evenings for further education opportunities. At the open events, we would highlight some of the achievements we had as students to educate prospective students about their future opportunities.
