SWBOYA’S (South Wilts Business Of The Year Awards)
During my employment at Hive Communications, the company entered itself for its chance to be nominated and to win an award for Apprenticeship Employer, and I was the apprentice in question which was the subject of judgment to the panel selecting their winner.
The award symbolized hard work demonstrated by the employer, with their determination to provide a highly resourceful and powerful approach to practical education, and the growth of an apprentice in their care. The award also represented the progress, achievements, and promise of the apprentice’s work throughout the scheme. Hive Communications was amongst 4 other nominated businesses.
It was an honor to go up on stage and accept this award for the company in front of the wide array of local businesses I have either assisted, supported, or become acquainted with during my time living and working in Salisbury. All the businesses who received an award were welcomed at the end for photographs to be taken. I was then later interviewed by Spire FM Radio and the Salisbury Journal newspaper. This was quite the night of achievements and celebration for all local businesses that won, and also received nominations.
